Freeform Combat System
Crimson Desert features a unique "freeform" combat system that combines traditional swordplay with dynamic wrestling moves. Unlike typical action RPGs, you can grab enemies, throw them, perform suplexes, and chain aerial attacks.
Core Combat Actions
- • Light Attack - Fast sword strikes
- • Heavy Attack - Powerful charged strikes
- • Grab (G) - Catch enemies and perform throws
- • Guard (H) - Block incoming attacks
- • Dodge - Quick movement to avoid attacks
Advanced Techniques
- • Suplex - Grab + Heavy while running
- • Aerial Attack - Jump + Heavy for airborne strikes
- • Throw Counter - Grab during enemy attack
- • Chain Combo - String attacks into grapples
Combat Skills
Whirlwind Strike
Spin attack hitting all nearby enemies. Great for crowds.
Power Throw
Charged throw that launches enemy into other enemies.
Dragon Rush
Dash forward and strike. Stuns on hit.
Earth Shatter
Slam ground creating shockwave. Knocks down enemies.
Iron Will
Temporary invincibility. Perfect for boss attacks.
Berserker Rage
Increased damage and speed for 20 seconds.
